Sketches 0.7b7

Available In: Installer       Price: Free

Sketches The update to Sketches 0.7b7 only has one change that I have noticed. You are now able to shake to erase your drawings. A few updates ago, that feature was removed, but it looks like they have added it back in! Other than that, I do not notice any visual changes to the application. Let me know in the comments if you notice anything. Sketches is available through the AppTapp Offical source.

Note: Available on 1.1.4 and below

Sketches Coming to App Store

SketchesArs Technica got an interview with the developers of Sketches at WWDC. Sketches is getting totally revamped and has some great new features. I love the thumbnails of all the sketches you’ve made being held up by little thumbtacks. Another great idea and feature is using a map as a background to draw on. It drops a pin of your current location in the center of the map and then you can draw on it. Think if you want to tell somewhere to meet; you can just take a pic and send it quick, even add notes and arrows. You can still draw on a existing photos or take a new one. You can even use a webpage’s screenshot! [Read more…]

Sketches 0.7b5

Sketches The update to version 0.7b5 of Sketches does not add any new features or make any huge visual changes to the application. However, it does fix a bug and make some improvements to the app. Some small visual changes include the Camera and Photo icons are slightly different and they also now have the indented button background. The main icon has also been updated…it is much cleaner around the edges. The bug fix has to do with Sketches not correctly remembering the last drawing when you close the application. There were also Twitter improvements which include, [Read more…]

Sketches 0.7b4

sketches The update to Sketches is slightly surprising. Though, I have a theory on why this is! The update to version 0.7b4 of Sketches actually removes a few options from the application instead of adding them. However, lets start from the beginning. The first change you will see is that Sketches has a new icon…which is the reason I looked for five minutes before Doug finally found the app on my SpringBoard. When you open the application, you will notice that the theme has changed. Instead of the clear or red themes from the previous version you will now be greeted with a brown theme…reminds me of Starbucks! On the main screen, none of the options have changed. You can still email your creation, send it to Twitter, export it to your Photo Album, change the colors, add shapes, take a picture, import an image and so on.

The changes come in the Setup Menu. You no longer have the option to [Read more…]

Sketches 0.7

Sketches When I saw an update to Sketches, I was a little confused. I thought maybe it was just someone adding it to another source. But, after some research, it is indeed an update! Making it version 0.7 of Sketches. And let me tell you…the update is sweet! However, this is coming from a Twitter addict. Yes…it’s true…you can now Twitter the masterpieces you create in Sketches. Just tap the Send icon and where you would normally see the options Export to Photo Album and Mail Picture, you will now see Twitter as well. When you select Twitter, [Read more…]

Sketches 0.6

Sketches The 0.6 update for Sketches brings fun updates. You can now choose from 24 different colors instead of 6. There are also updates to the toolbar icons and other minor visual changes. Sketches 0.6 works with 1.1.4 now and can adapt to different firmwares during installation from 1.1.1 to 1.1.4. [Read more…]

Sketches 0.5

Sketches There are quite a few new features with the update to Sketches 0.5. The update to 0.5 makes Sketches compatible with version 1.1.3…making it available on any iPhone version 1.1.1 through 1.1.3. In the lower toolbar option where you previously could choose between the six possible colors, you now can pick a color and change the size of the brush. To change the brush size…just slide the little circle, located below the color options, to the left for a smaller brush and to the right for a larger brush (there seems to be a much larger range of size options now!). In the lower toolbar option where you previously could choose the size of the brush, you will now find six new features; Line, Box, Oval, Arrow line, Filled Box and Filled Oval. These options are based on multi-touch so, once you have selected one… [Read more…]

Sketches Update 0.4 beta 2

Sketches There is an update to Sketches in the Installer.app through the AppTapp Official source. I was really excited to see this update…because it is like Sketches…like one of the original games! But honestly…I can’t find any visual changes with the update!! Let me know in the comments if you see anything!

Sketches

SketchesDeveloper’s description of Productivity app: Jot down your notes and drawings; shake like an etch-a-sketch to erase.

This app has a ton of great features. It opens to a gray screen (your drawing area). Before you being drawing you will want to choose the color and size of your tool, there a a few options for this, see screenshots below. Once you have that chosen you can begin drawing by dragging your finger along the screen. If you would like to erase a mark you just made you can tap the arrow on the bottom left of the screen, which is nice if you have already drawn a ton and just messed up…no fear, just erase only that mark! If you would like to erase the entire drawing, [Read more…]
