Twitxr is an iPhone app for the website Twitrx.com. Twitxr allows you to publish a picture to your Twitter account. From the iPhone you can either take a photo from within Twitxr or pull photos from your camera roll. If you choose to take a picture it will show up in your camera roll later. Once you choose your picture you just type your text and send it. It posts to your Twitxr account which then posts to your Twitter with a link to the photo. Other features include seeing other users pics from Twitxr, recording your location (is only seen on the Twitxr website) and toggle for high res picture (turn off for faster edge experience).
I’ve been using this service & app since Feb 20th but I recently noticed some features that I’m not sure were there before. You can now set up the ability to send the picture to not only Twitter, but Flickr & Facebook (see settings on their website). This is great! Now I can update all three with one app! This app is availble in Installer under the network category via the BigBoss source.

I’m disappointed that it only gives the option to take photo or select photos from the camera roll and not other albums that I carry on my device that I have synced with itunes from my computer. i carry quite a few shots around that I have taken with my ‘real’ camera and often would like to post them on twitxr… future option plz??

The program shut down automaticlly when i’m scrolling down in my camera roll. This only when the album got a lot of pictures (about 700). I think there’s a problem like buffer overflow with this iPhone application.
