Best ever sms alert sound!!

Couple days ago i noticed something in cydia which i thought was too good to be true.

a MGS (Metal Gear Solid, for thoses of you who don't know ) Alert Text, once i read into it further in the details page, it was a matter of seconds before it was installed on my iphone.

Ahh the good old days of playing MGS and hearing that wonderful sound when you were caught by a guard and "!" appeared above their heads.

Although i do keep forgetting its installed on my iPhone, so when it does go off it makes me jump.

it just adds a new sms to the list but not from settings, you have to install it from winterboard

yeah sorry forgot to explain all that......

add it through winterboard and make sure you have tri-tone selected

I'm not on 2.x yet. But I'm thinking of activating my 1st gen in iTunes to use my pay and go sim cos it says you can on o2.co.uk. Then using quickpwn for windows.

Quickpwn is alright to use, but the main problem with it is what makes it so good lol.

I've had a few problems with my iPhone, well i did have before I beat it up the main problem I had was when i first jailbroke it, it kept crashing and i had to restore and start from scratch bout 3 times before it finally accepted it's fate.

Once jailbroke, the usual problems we all encounter with our jailbroken beauties.

Don't feel too put off though, probably just me ^_^

Do you know anybody that has activated a first gen using their pay and go sim? I think I will definately give wuickpwn a go. I was waiting for winpwn3.0 but I'm getting a bit bored of 1.1.4 because nothing new comes out anymore. There used to be at least 2 things new coming out daily before.

lol, hey btw you could also install the MGS Sound Pack through Cydia, it replaces EVERY sound on your iphone with sounds from MGS that will make you reminisce about the good 'ol days.....i used to LOVE metal gear solid!

Metal Gear Codec for those of us who cant find it ^_^
