I have Bose In-Ears (the v3), they are pretty good. Took a while to find a good configuration to stop it gargling the bass though.
Used to have Sure E2C's, The Bose are definitely a step up from them. The rubber bit that goes in your ear is incredibly comfy, I always sleep with them in because you forget that they are there! Also, with other cheaper in-ears, when and sort of pressure is in your ear canal the pop where the diaphram is pushed in or sucked out - Not these which is pretty cool. You can lean on them and still listen to music without a glitch.
I have a Bose companion 5 speaker system that I sometimes connect my iPod to. Also, I have an iPod connector for my proper 5.1 Bose system that Is connected to the TV for parties and such.
Got my Sure SE530's ordered, coming next month - can't wait! I will post abou them when I get them
