aMaze for the iPhone is a Labyrinth style application. When you open the app, you will come to a main menu with the follow options, Start game, Select Level, Feedback and Register. You can play the first 10 levels without registering the app. It costs $9 to purchase the app and register it. The Select Level option will allow you to play any level you have already completed. When you select Start Game, you will be brought to the play screen. The object of the game is to get the silver ball into the hole with the blue burst behind it. Just tilt your iPhone to move the ball. You can get back to the main menu by tapping the transparent white circle in the upper left corner. I found that the accelerometer is a little touchy for me and that the ball bounces a little too much when it hits the wall. Though, I still like the app…everyone loves a Labyrinth style game! aMaze is available through the Ste Packaging source.

$9?? I hope this isn’t a sign of things to come for SDK.

Unfortunately I think this is a sign of things to come. Pricey demo apps that need to be purchased to get full versions.

$0.99 maybe, $9.00… not going to happen.

I think in the long run $0.99 or even $1.99 would make much more cash for the devs than $9… Trism says $4.99 and I thought that was way too high

Especially considering Labyrinth has been out for a very long time, has shown continued support and feature enhancements, and is cheaper to purchase if I remember right. I’m all for competition, but crappy competition at similar prices just isn’t going to cut it.

Says you. The only other mention of its physics engine here is that it’s too bouncy. Labyrinth’s physics are very good regardless, you can’t win over a competitor with a product that’s slightly (and arguably) better in one area and behind or tied in all others. Try again?
